Born in Tulsa and raised in Owasso, Broken Arrow and Skiatook, Skyler Cooper is a life-long Green Country resident. Skyler started his career at KRMG in 2012. He became a reporter in 2014 and worked as a reporter and producer for the KRMG Morning News until 2021, when he became Host of the KRMG Afternoon News.

President Donald Trump signed the Laken Riley Act into law which allows the detention of undocumented immigrants accused of theft-related crimes, the Owasso Police Department is investigating alleged embezzlement through an Owasso elementary school's Parent Teacher Organization and precipitation moves into Green Country with rain totals of just under an inch expected.

OSDE Immigration Rule, Repairs at Tulsa County Courthouse and White House Pause on Loans and Grants Blocked

The Oklahoma State Department of Education approved a rule that requires schools to ask for immigration status when enrolling kids in school, repairs are about to get underway at the Tulsa County Courthouse on various parts of the building that will take about 2 years, and the White House's pause on federal loans and grants is temporarily blocked by a federal judge in Washington D.C.
