Suspect in custody after Sapulpa Police, other agencies respond to SWAT activation

Sapulpa Police Department is advising residents to remain in their homes due to an active SWAT situation.

Sapulpa Police Department is advising residents to remain in their homes and avoid the area off 100 West Gordon Avenue due to an active SWAT situation.

Several agencies, including Bixby Police and Sand Springs Police were also responding as part of the SWAT team.

The reason for the SWAT activation is unknown at this time.

Sapulpa Police say the suspect has been taken into custody without incident.
