TULSA, Okla. — A 16-year-old girl was killed after she was hit by a car while riding her bicycle, Tulsa police said.
Police were called to the scene before 5 a.m. near East 36th Street North and Toledo to a traffic accident.
They believe the girl was riding in the middle of the road and swerved into the lane of the driver.
They say she didn’t have any reflective gear on.
Police say the driver stayed on scene and is being cooperative.
